Charles took a step back from his self-portrait. He was just adding his finishing touches of paint. “Are you sure this is what you saw? This is how I’m going to die?” “Yes” the voice said. It was a gruesome piece of art but everyone that knew Charles said he was just “eccentric.” They had no idea that’s almost exactly how Charles would later be found at the crime scene.
