Elena explains to Anton who Alex is but he still cannot accept him. Lorena drops by at Joaquin's mansion to fetch Karen but he requests for an extension of his daughter's stay. Noel tells Danilo to forgive Esperanza, now that they've found employment under Anton's hacienda employer. Alex talks to Anton while the latter is manning the farmland. When the three-day extension is over, Lorena tries to take Karen back but Joaquin flicks her off and tells her they'll see in court.
