Esperanza catches Cecille and Mr. Sioco in a questionable position. Pacita advises Cecille to go slowly with her relationship with Mr. Sioco. Oca harasses Cecille again but fails because of Mr. Sioco's protection. Esperanza breaks down while trying to process the argument she and her sister had over the rich, suspicious, old man.
