Kujawińska discovers that Kubis was pretending to be still in a coma. However, she has serious problems herself - and comes to ask the inspector for help. She knows that she is facing charges of murder and cooperation with a criminal group. Only Kubis's intercession can save her skin. The diamonds stolen by gangster Zatorski turn out to be fake. The desperate bandit will make one more attempt to get the real thing. Rosa, who is handling this case together with prosecutor Jagiełło and Sławek Kłos, is not sure whether she can trust Kujawińska. The superintendent behaves irrationally, and her decisions constantly thwart the policemen's plans.
