Everyone is surprised to meet Kesar's mother. Sumitra is irked to see Sajjan giving special attention to Maayi. Kesar's mother comes to Thakur Nivas to meet Kesar and is in awe of looking at the house. Kesar is elated to meet her Maayi. Komal screams at children for studying loudly. When Aarushi protests Komal's decision to throw the children out of the house, Komal hurts her. Maayi complains against her husband with Sajjan. Pratigya is irked when Maayi taunts her for not behaving like a traditional daughter-in-law. Maayi thanks Sajjan for taking care of her during her bad times. Daadi is surprised to see Pratigya worried.
