Emily brings in a piece of cloth, which Charliemouse identifies as a house for a rag doll, which leads to a number of rag jokes from the mice. The mice fold up the cloth so that bagpuss can use it as a thinking cap, and think of the story of Uncle Feedle. Gabriel and Madeleine sing along.
