Gael loses control of his jet ski and causes a terrible accident with Marena. He swears he won't leave her side until she's well and calls for an ambulance. Gael feels a great love for Marena and asks her to be his girlfriend, but this news causes Adrián great pain, as he is also in love with her. Marena confirms to Gael that she is pregnant, and he forces her to get rid of the baby because he is afraid of losing all his fortune. When she learns of his decision, Marena prefers to leave.
