2003: Audrey Barreyre and her boyfriend break into a house on the Basque Corniche. Accidentally, they cause a fire. They flee, taking a valuable necklace. In the confusion, Audrey finds herself alone, at night, on the moor. Itsas, a serial killer who is rampant in the region, then tries to kill her. 2019: Audrey is now 35 years old. She is a Parisian lawyer, married, mother of a little boy. She freezes when she learns that a young girl, Maialen, was found dead in the Basque country. On her, an unknown necklace of great value. Audrey lies to her husband and leaves for the Basque country. She becomes the lawyer for Maialen's parents. As soon as she arrives, Audrey is very poorly received by those who recognize her. What happened 16 years ago?
