The gaming year 2021 was... let's say "mixed". But that's exactly why we want to look back and see if it was really that bad or if our memories are deceiving us. After all, there were already a few good games in 2021. For the Switch, for example, there was Monster Hunter Rise, for Playstation 5 there was Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, for Xbox Series X there was Forza Horizon 5, and for PC there was Age of Empires 4. And those were just a few examples. But of course we also have to talk about what drove us up the wall this year: Postponements, delays, the remake flood, bugs, glitches - the list is long.
