The girl was strangled, and the crime scene was fenced off with a special tape used by the investigating authorities. The killer left no other traces. From a conversation with a classmate of the deceased, the investigators learn that they helped each other to collect materials for dissertations and often met with the general scientific adviser, Professor Kryuchkov.
