DS Roach and DC Dashwood catch a man who has been ripping people off posing as a gas board official. Ch. Supt. Brownlow talks to PC Edwards about taking a position in the coroner's office. Sgt. Cryer is shocked when Mrs. Penny accuses her husband of beating her up.
