Zhang Xiaojing comes clean about this relationship, and Yao Runeng decides to release Wen Ran from Peacekeeper Corps’s custody. Li Bi tells Cao Poyan that Wolf Squad have been used as pawns, which crushes Cao Poyan’s loyalty to his master. Cao Poyan finally gives up the key person, the nobleman Yousha, and hints about a cross-shaped lotus which can be found at his hideout. Zhang Xiaojing and Tan Qi go to the Nestorian Church to look for Yousha, but the priest Yisi at the Nestorian Church realises their deception and locks them in the confessional.
