Evan is furious when he learns that Pól terrorised poor Máire to such an extent that she is petrified to leave the house. Fists clenched, he sets out to knock some sense into the young hoodlum. Mack is shocked to see Evan in such a rage and begs him to think of how disappointed his late grandfather Peadar would be. Poor Mo is at her wits end with Peaitsí. But getting rid of Peaitsí is the least of her worries when she receives bad news about the future of her job.
