In June, The Book Club comes to you from Sydney Writers Festival. Jennifer Byrne plus regular clubbers Marieke Hardy and Jason Steger are joined by two very special guests from the festival. Actor, director and author of Not My Father's Son, Alan Cumming, plus writer, naturalist and scholar Helen Macdonald, author of the award winning H is for Hawk. This lively panel will discuss new release The Discreet Hero by Nobel laureate Mario Vargas Llosa, as well as Alan's favourite, Enid Blyton's Five on a Treasure Island.
