The Ultimate Rider

In this episode the rookies take on their first challenge - a motorkhana, which will test their ability to control and steer a bike at speed. Each contestant rides against the clock to complete the course. The judges will be watching every move.

The rookies face 3 laps on tar and 3 laps on dirt. The times will be added together to form an aggregate total. Fastest time wins. First the infamous crash corner on the angulating and unforgiving road track, and then the game changes.

It's Dirt vs Road, and the Ultimate Rider will need to master both surfaces to claim top spot and take the $20,000 prize. And surprise eliminations could end their dream at any time.

In an Ultimate Rider first, the rookies will race side by side against each other in pairs. The pressure is huge as the judges decide there will be a surprise elimination. And the twist? The rookies won't know until the points are revealed later on.

The rookies hit the road and head towards Melbourne. It's Motocross, and dirt tracker Brayden Elliot is very nervous about his first jump. There will be thrills and spills, laughter and tears as the rookies race for points and to avoid elimination.

After five weeks of tough competition, the leaderboard is tight, with only one point separating the top four rookies. This week the five remaining rookies will battle it out for only four spots in next week's semifinal. One rookie will be sent home.

It's finals time! After this challenge one more rider will be eliminated. The remaining three will go through to the Grand Final. Things get serious with a challenge designed to test the rookies' dirt, road and motocross riding skills.

It's the Grand Final of 2013's The Ultimate Rider! After seven weeks of epic competition, only three rookies remain in the fight for the title of The Ultimate Rider, and the $20,000 cash prize.
