Alistair Appleton is in Warwickshire, helping a couple of newly-weds find a country home with a budget of 550,000 pounds. But with a Cotswold stone cottage being found to be too petite and a 19th-century farmhouse too big a project, it proves hard to find the right combination. Away from the search, Alistair tries out legging a canal boat through a tunnel.
