The endless savannah stretching to the horizon in southwestern Kenya is home to several bird species that can fly but mostly don't. With their long legs, secretary birds find insects and reptiles hiding in the grass. They even hunt for venomous snakes. Ground hornbills use their strong bills to dig for food.
