The show features ambitious renovations and inspirational transformations, but also highlights the work carried out by the UK's Empty Property Officers, whose job it is to get unoccupied homes back into use. In this episode, Joe meets Matthew and Monelle Bryce-Reid, who have just bought an empty 110-year old Grade 2 Listed house in the conservation area of Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire. They are keen to share their plans to turn the property into their first home together - and to get as much guidance as they can. To give Monelle tips and inspiration, Joe introduces her to a lady who has converted her derelict Grade 2 Star Listed house in Letchworth Garden City in to a spectacular family home. Joe also learns how the renovation of a police station and fire station will create new homes in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk and we follow Empty Property Officer Iain Cobby on his mission to save abandoned houses in Shepway, Kent.
