Jennifer and Carly bond over ice cream, with Carly reassuring her things will work out. Kimberly visits Lawrence and Nikki, warning that Nikki’s attempts to split Carly and Bo won’t succeed, leaving psychology books behind.
Austin, stranded with a dead car, manages to fix it using a telephone cord and electrical tape. He returns to Salem just in time for the fight but is pressured to take a dive and reluctantly agrees.
