Because Albert Park is used just once a year, when the teams arrive its surface is greener than Shrek on his first day at work. That, combined with the walls that encroach on the circuit, regularly makes for a thrilling race. There might not be much overtaking, dirt off the racing line limits that, but as the circuit on the calendar most likely to see a safety car period it all adds up to make for an unpredictable race. In the last 15 years that the race has been held in Melbourne, no less than ten different drivers have been victorious.
