Joe checks into a neglected hotel in Malta whose decline from its glory days has resulted in scathing online reviews, and Helen assists Dr Chris Van Tulleken in a pop-up beach surgery, helping British holidaymakers with common and not-so-common holiday ailments. Helen also investigates how to avoid being weighed down by the costs of excess baggage and, in a battle of staycation versus vacation, goes head-to-head with Joe to find the best adrenalin-fuelled adventure weekend for two. Will it be thrill-seeking at home in Scotland, or adventures abroad in Iceland?
