Nandi becomes unconscious on the battle field. Lord Vishnu enlightens Devi Laxmi about Nandi's devotion towards Mahadev. Jalandhar challenges the deities to defeat him. Ganesha decides to fight him. Jalandhar warns him to leave the battle field, but in vain. Mahadev becomes furious on seeing Ganesha unconscious. He enters the battle field and advises Jalandhar to apologise for his misdeeds. Jalandhar challenges Mahadev to defeat him.
