Don and Pancho decided to ask Dr. Dairi to build Mechadon 2 in order to win against Jeeg. Dr. Okura appears, and asserts that Mechadon 2 needs an energy amplification device. Don and Pancho took his words seriously and removed the amplification device from the Big Shooter.
