Jirobo and Sagen were informed by Nobunaga's ninja, Bantaro Saemon, that he could "divide" the whereabouts of the Jizo Bodhisattva statue after Nobunaga's death. Jirobo confronts Kanetsugu's Iga Ninja army alone in order to protect Kanetsugu's secret. Shima Sakon was impressed by the righteousness of the two and decided his own way of life.
