Famous conductor Kisashi Kuroikawa (Masachika Ichimura), beats viola player Takigawa Rumi (Machida Shion) to death after breaking up with her. Sensing he will be caught by Furuhata, Kuroikawa plans to have clarinet player Ishimori, who had feelings for Rumi, take the fall. When Furuhata visits the recording site for a new album, he will need to use perfect pitch to discover the true culprit.
