In this episode Joe joins Joanne Warren on her hunt for an empty property to call home. Together they view a charming old gatehouse that could suit Joanne's requirements perfectly. She is a first time renovator with a limited budget so understandably has concerns but Joe takes her to meet a couple who have recently converted an old schoolhouse and have bags of advice for her. We learn about the importance of working alongside your local conservation officer when restoring historic buildings and we head to Suffolk to join their empty property officer Jason Hall.
