Ki-chang, Kang-se's biological father, approaches Marie with an uncomfortable request to help him arrange a meeting with Kang-se. Meanwhile, after discovering Ki-chang's real name, Jo Won-chang, and realizing his true intentions, Poong-ju grows furious. Confronting Ki-chang, he warns him not to step in and act like Kang-se's father now. Learning about Kang-se's biological father, Soon-ae decides to leave home in frustration.
