Inflation has been a problem for us users of the economy ever since we decided to use a unit of account to exchange things. Over time, things become more expensive, but why? There are several plausible explanations, but beyond explaining the price increase, is it possible to control it? If the government spends too much money, does my coffee become more expensive?
