Marlena is subpoenaed to testify for Roger’s defense but insists he should be punished. Stella visits Kim in the hospital, blaming Marlena’s therapy and begging Kim to stop it. Marlena confronts Stella, and Roger storms out of therapy when his drinking is mentioned. Stella grows paranoid, convinced he’s having an affair with Marlena.
Kim is cleared to leave the hospital but must remain in Salem; Philip returns to LA. Marlena and Roman meet him and learn she still has headaches.
Jack secretly schemes to buy a house for Jennifer, recruiting Tanner with promises of money. Austin and Tim set up a gambling operation at Johnny Angel’s. Carrie invites Austin to dinner, serving food from Wings. Molly and Tanner go on their date.
Roger shocks everyone by changing his plea to guilty on all counts, beginning the “pit” saga.
