Jack secretly installs a hidden camera in his apartment to spy on Jennifer and her new bodyguard Brian. When Jack watches them bonding over their shared love of Rummy, he becomes jealous and paranoid that they're getting too close. Unable to contain himself, Jack bursts into the apartment and kicks Brian out. Jennifer is confused and hurt by Jack's erratic behavior and refusal to explain what's bothering him. Jack desperately tries to make her happy by playing Rummy with her, but remains evasive about the real reason for his suspicious surveillance and jealousy.
Meanwhile, Jesse is caught buying a gun at Fisherman's Village and arrested by Roman despite Carrie's pleas. Marlena intervenes at the station, advising Roman against jailing Jesse. At the carnival, Carly tells Jennifer she may have discovered her lost baby is actually alive.
