Jack works at The Spectator, where Vern reveals he's making mistakes rather than getting promoted. Jennifer confronts Jack about lipstick-stained shirts; he blames coworker Silvie. At the TV studio, Jennifer agrees to a tentative date with Jack after he apologizes and asks for another chance. However, Hawk—who's been hovering around Jennifer—plants photos of Jack with Cindy under her broadcast copy. Jennifer freezes on-air seeing the pictures. After the broadcast, she shows Jack the photos and angrily tells him not to come home. Meanwhile, family scenes with Roman, Marlena, Carrie, and Shawn unfold in the background, while Carly, Victor, and dock workers deal with separate business at the pier and Kiriakis Mansion.
