Bo and Carly enjoy their honeymoon in Mexico while Jennifer receives a postcard from them. Alice encourages Jennifer about Jack's return, but Jack overhears Jennifer telling Alice it's too soon to see him again. Misunderstanding, Jack assumes Jennifer has moved on with another man and decides to back away. Meanwhile, Chip pursues Julie while helping Molly get together with Tanner. After initial resistance, Tanner agrees to take Molly to the Nutcracker ballet, and they share a tender moment on the pier. Hawk refuses to leave town without Jack's money despite efforts to send him away. Jo confronts Jack about his feelings for Jennifer and urges him to fight for her before he loses her permanently.
