Jack works at a Mexican meat packing plant and repeatedly tries calling Jennifer, but keeps getting disconnected. Meanwhile, Jennifer grows frustrated by the failed calls, fearing she's being stalked and wishing Jack would contact her. She asks Desiree for help finding him. When Desiree attempts a psychic reading, she has a disturbing vision and becomes frightened.
In Mexico, John, Marlena, and Roman investigate Chichen Itza while Bo, Carly, and Isabella arrive in Cancun. Lawrence and Gretchen surveil the Romans from their hotel room.
Jack confides to his coworkers (including his biological fathers Harper and Duke) that he can't involve Jennifer in the dangerous situation he's caught in, determined to protect her from his troubles.
