Jack, alive and undercover at a meat‑packing plant, calls Jennifer but can’t speak when he hears her voice. Hawk manipulates Jennifer, steals the pier videotape, and tries to win her over. She clings to the dying jade plant Jack gave her, symbolizing her struggle to let go.
Shane and Kim learn Jeannie is Shane’s daughter—Cal lied to keep Kim tied to him. Kim confronts Cal in prison; he admits everything. Shane bonds with Jeannie while Kayla watches, devastated after sleeping with him and losing him.
Ginger tells Tanner the Hawkins family is hunting her because of her past with Rusty in Vegas and fears they blame her for his death. Tanner vows to protect her and Molly.
A melancholy montage closes the episode: Kayla shut out of Shane’s new family moment, Jennifer trying to revive the jade plant, and Jack alone in the warehouse, clutching photos of the life he can’t return to.
