Jack and Kayla return from their honeymoon after Steve calls about a housing project crisis. Back in Salem, Harper secretly poisoning Kayla forces her to drink poisoned tea while pretending to be helpful.
Meanwhile, Eve steals a car to escape arrest and accidentally hits Sarah in the rain. Arrested at the scene, Eve shocks Shane by revealing she's his daughter.
Jennifer overhears Mike and Frankie discussing her need for counseling and angrily resists their help, though she briefly visits a therapist. She distances herself from Frankie but momentarily drops her cold act when learning about Sarah's accident. Frankie considers working at a teen hotline to help others since he can't help Jennifer.
At the hospital, Sarah's condition is critical; doctors may need to remove her spleen. Bill is called to save her while Mickey and Maggie hold vigil.
