Diana discovers Victor murdered her fiance James after Roman pressures her to spy on Victor; she agrees to help the ISA. On their wedding night, ill Jack can't consummate the marriage, relieving an uncomfortable Kayla. She finds Steve's gift a silver rose triggering memories of him. In the park, she fantasizes about marrying Steve instead. Drunk Steve appears and wishes them happiness before leaving in tears. Kayla departs, leaving Steve devastated.
