Steve, Kayla, Justin, and Adrienne drive to Los Angeles to investigate Dr. Hopkins. A gas station attendant nearly recognizes Steve, but a rock‑star cover story saves them. When police pull them over, Justin and Adrienne pose as newlyweds so Steve and Kayla can hide. At UCLA, Steve breaks into the admin building, triggers an alarm, and the group flees.
Jennifer and Frankie’s plans fall apart when Frankie takes a construction job on the riverfront despite safety concerns. Jennifer is upset but soon gets hired as a receptionist on the same project — a move Anjelica makes because she’s a Horton. Jennifer and Frankie reconnect, happy they’ll still see each other through carpooling and breaks.
Anjelica pursues Justin under the guise of business, prompting Victor’s suspicion. She negotiates riverfront property with Alex while overseeing the project. Victor learns Steve is heading west and coldly orders an associate to eliminate him when the time is right.
