On a remote island, Orpheus reunites Marlena with Olivia, Rebecca's sister and Roman's love interest. Marlena learns Roman still hopes she's alive. Olivia, who initially sought revenge for her sister's death, has fallen in love with Roman and his family. She offers to help Marlena escape. Roman arrives at the island searching for Marlena but finds the estate abandoned, unaware she's nearby.
