Kayla brings Adrienne to see Kim, but Steve panics, terrified therapy will make Adrienne remember the rape. He chases after them and drags her home. Kayla confronts him, saying he’s avoiding pain just like he did with Jo. Kim later tells Kayla Steve pushes people away because he doesn’t know how to love. At home, Adrienne admits she dreamed of being with Steve and Billy, sending him fleeing.
Andrew continues to struggle after being separated from Barbara. Neil suggests Paul spend more time with him and even recommends Kim move in with Paul. Andrew thrives under Paul’s care, and Kim tearfully apologizes for Paul’s losses as they bond watching Andrew’s videos.
At Shenanigans, Steve asks Frankie to look after Max while he’s in jail. Kayla tells Steve she doesn’t want to lose him, but he won’t respond. Frankie apologizes to Jennifer for stopping tutoring, and they reconcile. Meanwhile, Calliope babysits Noel, dressing her up as her assistant.
