Steve brings Kayla home from their pool game. Kim goes to see Shane about his plan. Kim decides to go along with him. Kayla challenges Steve to stay, when he kisses her. After the bomb goes off, Roman runs in looking for Marlena. Steve and Kayla start to get close, when the phone interrupts them. Shane sets the ball in motion for his plan with Emma. Abe tells Roman the firemen found Marlena's remains. Steve brings Kayla to the Fish Market after they get the news. Kim and Kayla try to comfort Roman. Steve takes Kayla home and decides to spend the night there.
Steve walks Kayla home and he stands in the doorway until Kayla asks if he's
going to stay there all night. Steve says no, he's going but Kayla asks him to
stay for a while. Steve is reluctant but Kayla is persistent and when Steve
makes a comment about not being hungry for food he laughs when she goes several
shades of red. He follows her inside saying she can dish it out but can't take
it.
