Shane survives after his heart is restarted but remains unconscious. Kim arrives in Stockholm, pours out her feelings, and is shaken when he murmurs Gillian’s name. Marlena escapes the ISA only to fall into Orpheus’s hands; he locks her on his yacht and reveals the ISA used her to force Roman to find the bonds. Roman confronts Vaughn, then Orpheus, who demands “Roman’s wife for his” and vows Roman will suffer as he did. Kayla and Steve bring Kim from the airport, and the crisis makes her realise how much Shane still means to her. Bo and Hope reaffirm their commitment while Bo continues gathering evidence against Victor. Gillian vows to make amends, unaware Kim sees her kiss Shane. Roman tells Hope, Kayla and Steve that Orpheus has Marlena, and they prepare to search for her. In Salem, Robin panics over marrying Mitch, admitting she truly loves Mike.
