Laura is reading through some of Victoria's belongings when she sees her. Immediately, Carlos's mother grabs what she's holding, but her granddaughter demands an explanation, since the text mentions that her grandfather wasn't Carlos's biological father. Victoria breaks down and confesses that Carlos is the son of Igor, a local actor who abandoned her as soon as he learned of her pregnancy, while Domingo decided to marry her and pass the boy off as his own son. Victoria isn't the only one telling the truth; Braulio also tells Ayelén about the lie his family is involved in. Specifically, the young man tells Ayelén that he's not 50 years old, but 25, and that the whole story about the wells is a lie, concluding that Alamiro's story might also be a hoax.
