While he admits he still loves her, he also makes it clear that time will erase that feeling. Atocha confesses to Sebastián that she ordered the attack against him, but admits without remorse that the outcome was even better than she ever imagined. Atocha reveals to Leonel that the true reason for her hatred of being a woman is the painful past she experienced with her father. Atocha proudly reveals that she was the mastermind behind every one of Leonel's tragedies and that her revenge is about to come to an end.
