Six children are transformed into Hero Squad Cadets and start a rigorous training programme alongside real-life, life savers. The cadets need the help of some four-legged canine rescuers as they scour a large area of Dartmoor, to find an injured walker. Good map reading skills and strong boots are essential as all the cadets try to impress their Mountain rescue mentor and be awarded Hero of the Day.
