On isolated islands here and there, rivers containing gold sand evaporate overnight. Doctor Yamatone is searching for the golden island for South Taiping, but is caught in a flood. When he returns to the river after the waters have receded, he finds a giant silkworm monster. Supercar gets entangled in the gold threads sprayed by the silkworms, but is saved by the golden bat. He follows the path of Gegeorg of Nazo, who came to retrieve the golden cocoons produced by silkworms, and finds them there.・・・・・・
