Doctor Yamatone and his team are invited to transform a barren, uninhabited island in South America into an earthly paradise. Nazo, who wants to make the island his secret base, uses his subordinate No. 5 to spray a mysterious gas on the carnivorous plants, causing them to grow to gigantic sizes. Engineer Ringo, who is not happy with the Japanese cooperation, suspects that Doctor Yamatone is behind the changes to the plants. Finally, the giant plants attack the development team and the Golden Bat appears in an absolutely fatal crisis.
