Yes, it's kind of a weird concept, but in practice it works really well to get a specific sort of acoustic bass guitar sound in a recording environment. This definitely isn't something that you'd do on a gig, but when you don't have an acoustic bass guitar handy, this works well! Try it out, and let me know how it goes! Peace, Adam
