In 2005, unlike today, thoughts of Pandemics were far from most people's minds. But at this time World of Warcraft was almost brought to it's knees as the contaminated Blood Plague pandemic swept through server after server. The plague spread with alarming speed across all corners of the World... of Warcraft, eventually infecting over 4 million players. What was most intriguing were the actions of individuals in the game as the plague spread. There were those who turned martyr, risking their own health to save others while there were some who deliberately tried to spread the infection far and wide.
