Next, Genene and Richard Colbert of Jamestown, North Dakota, restore a rundown house and find a Valentine card and Charles Dickens novel that help them get in touch with their home's historic roots. Finally, Barbara Lambert preserves a 17th-century log home in Gloucester, Massachusetts, that belonged to the Riggs family for more than 300 years.
