Sander is born with a bulge on the umbilical cord. Neonatologist Marisse Meeus discovers atypical tissue in the cyst and prepares the child and his parents for surgery. At the UZA, Lizy comes to Professor Diane De Neubourg for a fertility study. Lizy has already completed several unsuccessful ivf treatments and is undergoing a final thorough investigation in the hope of finally getting positive news. Midwife Anneleen accompanies Rita during an underwater birth. This is difficult due to a trauma that Rita suffered after she almost lost her life at her previous birth.
